Season Details
General Season: August – March
- August – September: Madeira River (southern region): The rainy season ends and the river is full to capacity allowing anglers a prime chance to fish the Madeira. After September, the levels get too low and the boats move north to the Rio Negro region for the remainder of the season.
- October – March: Rio Negro (northern region): The deep waters of the Rio Negro allow a long stretch of trophy fishing allong the abundant banks.
